It’s National Limerick Day

It’s National Limerick Day, celebrated to mark the birthday of Edward Lear, the English writer known for his works of nonsensical prose and poetry. I love a limerick – whilst it might be a bit of fun, it can also be a creative and light-hearted way to say you care, value, and appreciate people.

So, I thought I’d share with you a limerick I created today to celebrate a great bunch of people who attend our Talent Forum. We facilitate a quarterly virtual event with an agreed agenda and guest speakers on a diverse range of topics such as Reducing Digital Stress, Action Learning Groups, Resilience and Reverse Mentoring.

If you’d like to come along or just want to find out more about it, register your details and we’ll be in touch with the where and how.

So, to the limerick…

There once was a group who were part of the Talent Forum
Who conducted themselves with great energy and decorum.
The knowledge and ideas that they share
Always show that they care
And the world of L&D is a better place for them.

Happy National Limerick Day to you!
