According to the 2024 ISE Student Development survey, half of employers said that their graduates are not career ready at the point of hire, with similarly high numbers for school and college leavers. The data suggests that early careers are starting out without all the skills that they need to navigate today’s hybrid workplace successfully.

As someone who works with people to help them make more effective decisions, I was really surprised by how large the gap between perception and reality lay when measuring some of the more fundamental aspects of life – happiness – for example.
